Check out this awesome video - During the rule of Stalin(1928-53), the Soviet Union, a 200 years backyard country, became the most advanced country of the world, aside the most developed capitalist countries. Misery, unemployment, prejudice and illiteracy were eliminated from Soviet territory. Agriculture was modernized and production means were distributed among proletarians.
