5 Stars A Defferent Type of Book, How to get it Done, not what it can do
This book is so easy to use. It told me exactly what to do to get more clients using LinkedIn. I read it the same day I bought it, and was using LinkedIn before the end of the day. I’d joined LinkedIn before, though I didn’t do anything with it because I didn’t know what to do or where to start. After I read this book, I updated my LinkedIn Profile – the book tells you exactly how to do that — And I joined a Group for people who used to work at the company where I worked some years ago. The next day, someone who worked for me there years ago called me. We hadn’t been in touch for years. He’s been looking for a new dining room table and chairs, and asked me to build them. If I hadn’t bought this book, and if it wasn’t so easy to use, that wouldn’t have happened. WOW!
One of the best things I like about it is that there are things I can do in 15-20 minutes a day on LinkedIn. I don’t have a lot of time to be doing online networking, and now I know I can spend as little as 15-20 minutes a day and get clients with LinkedIn. I give it 5 stars!
5 Stars A gold mine of immediately usable advice
Jan Wallen’s book “Mastering LinkedIn in 7 days or Less” is a gold mine of immediately usable advice. Wallen spells out just what you want to know how to do. She shows you how you can achieve great results in just minutes per day. Turn to any page of her book and you will find specific, concrete tips you can put into action right away. Whether you are new to LinkedIn or a long-time user, she will show you how to achieve results quickly.
Wallen presents everything from a real person’s perspective rather than a technical one. Whether you are new to LinkedIn, using it a little, or using it a lot, she lays out a tailored track that tells you how to get the most out her book. Her advice goes beyond LinkedIn too, including expert advice on networking (in person as well as on-line!), selling, and other topics. I consider myself a skilled writer but learned something new here too with her tips on improving readability. Highly recommended!
