5 Stars It works!!
I read several books about job hunting techniques and only got this one because a friend highly recommended it. After the first chapter I immediately knew this was a different book. David’s unconventional approach works. It gives you a range of concrete useful tips.If you are in the job market this is a ‘must’ read, you cannot go wrong.
Thanks,
Roberto
5 Stars An Edge In a Very Competitive Market
The software development and IT support fields have very competitive job markets. I am finding the supply may well FAR out-weigh the demand. Pumping resumes to internet postings, newspaper ads, etc. likely won’t work. Too many resumes to screen and yours likely won’t even get read. That’s right !!! This book gives you the tools to get around the initial screenings, typically by HR, where your resume disappears. It also gives you multiple tools to compliment and probably exceed the use of job postings.
